Shopping List :
2 large cloves of garlic
5-10 Fresh Dates (remove stones)
400-500g of Organic tomato paste
1 cup of water
1- 2 tablespoons organic apple cider
2 – 3 tablespoon Organic rice malt Syrup or Coconut syrup
Pink rock salt to taste – 2 teaspoon
1 teaspoon mustard seeds

Instructions Thermomix users
Place garlic and dates into the mixing bowl chop 3-5 sec/speed 7.
Scrape down the bowl sides. Place in all remaining ingredients and cook for 25 minutes/100c/speed 2.
Let cool for about 30 minutes then transfer into a glass jar (old jam jar) and refrigerate.
When serving my tip is serve in a small bowl and add small amounts of water till you achieve the consistency you want (store brought sauce).
Instructions for Non Thermomix users
Finely chop garlic and dates either by hand or in a food processor.
Place all ingredients in a saucepan, stirring bring to boil. Then on low heat simmer for about 50 minutes. Allow to cool then blast in the food processor, transfer into a glass jar (old jam jar) and refrigerate.
