As I continue on my health journey to simply do better with mine and my family’s foods choices I realise education is everything. Education starts the conversation and rather than just accepting this is how I’ve been culturally programmed to eat and live, I need to ask ‘What’ and ‘What impact’ what I’m consuming as my fuel for life actually is.
Simple, Easy I’m afraid not as many ‘foods’ even ‘real foods’ like wheat, fruit and meats are contaminated with ingredients I don’t know, nevermind have any hope of pronouncing. I often feel like I’m drowning in information gasping for breath due to the misinformation or my previous lack of questioning of the large corporations that largely control and are responsible for our western understanding on what we should be eating and what’s acceptable ‘food’ to fuel us.
The new generations are becoming sicker, weaker and more prone to lifestyle diseases such as heart disease and diabetes, as well as a growing epidemic of autoimmune diseases and food sensitivities, allergies and intolerances.
Im currently trying to do my best with the information I’m being exposed to both organically and through my research. The below article is about glyphosate and the possible health implications it could cause and how deeply infiltrated it is in our food supply here in Australia.
